Free HIPAA Training in Montana
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights is providing free HIPAA for the Small Provider Training in Montana from 9am to 1pm on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Great Falls and Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Kalispell.
Please see attached flyer for details and share with your colleagues or professional association members in Montana as appropriate. Thank you!
The purpose of the training is to assist smaller health care provider organizations in understanding their responsibilities under the HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules. If you own or manage a health care provider practice or service that submits certain transactions electronically, such as claims to health insurance companies, then your organization must understand how HIPAA works so you can appropriately protect the privacy and security of your patients’ information. We will cover a number of important topics and welcome your questions and participation at the training.
This free HIPAA training is appropriate for all types of health care provider organizations such as: dental, medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, mental health, optometric, EMS, etc.
Space is limited so advance registration is necessary. Please indicate which location of the training you wish to attend. You may reserve a seat by emailing either:
We hope to see you at the training
