Celebrate HIP Week, April 20 – 24, 2026
Health Information Professionals (HIP) Week is April 20-24, 2026 and MHIMA is proud to join AHIMA and HIM communities across the country in celebrating the stewards of health information right in Montana.
This year’s theme-Celebrating the Stewards of Health Information-resonates deeply with everything MHIMA stands for. Our members are the professionals ensuring that health information is accurate, secure, and accessible in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, payer organizations, academic institutions, and everywhere in between.
That work is indispensable and– this is your week.
Ways to Celebrate:
Wear your pride-visit the official HIP Week store for tees, bags, drinkware, and more at jimcolemanstore.com/ahima.
Recognize a colleague– take a moment this week to thank a fellow HIM professional who has made a difference in your work or career.
Spread the word on social media-share what HIP Week means to you using #HIPWeek and #MHIMA and tag @AHIMResources so the entire HIM community can celebrate alongside you.
Play HIM-related games at your facility. Click the links for templates and ideas.
From the MHIMA Board, thank you for the expertise, integrity, and dedication you bring to this profession every single day. We are honored to represent such an exceptional community of health information professionals across our state.
